First Aid Training

First Aid only is $35 per student

Pediatric First Aid is $35 per student

  • Asthma care training for child care providers

  • Optional: Pediatric first aid topics, Infant CPR with mask.

For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care providers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations.

Advanced Trauma First Aid is $35 per student 

        • Gun Shot Emergencies 
        • Mass Trauma 
        • Advanced Bandaging and splinting 
        • Wilderness Emergencies 

*Basic First Aid for Children is $25 per student

Blood Borne Pathogens is $35 per student
General OSHA Standard for bloodborne pathogens training for anyone with a real potential for occupational exposure

  •  How to Protect yourself from exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  •  How to act appropriately when a bloodborne pathogens exposure occurs
  •  How to clean up after a bloodborne pathogens exposure
  •  How to properly report any bloodborne pathogens exposures
  •  Designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific bloodborne pathogens training

Designed specifically for the workplace/health and safety market who must be trained annually in bloodborne pathogens. It is targeted toward settings such as industry, Fortune 1500 companies, occupational health, property management, hospitality, security, and health and fitness staff.

For those caring for infants and children, such as family members, babysitters, and others providing in-home care, who want basic first aid information but do not need a course completion credential.

The program teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child for the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This program covers such topics as preventing injuries, recognizing and treating basic first aid emergencies, and relief of choking in infants.

Training material and props are provided for each specific class. All prices include a card from American Heart Association which is valid for two years. Prices do not include text books that are required for each class. Books can be purchased from me at the time of registration. All training classes are provided at your location (for groups) or in the Iredell or surrounding counties. Evening and weekend classes at no addition charge! Group discounts may apply. Discounts will be included for civil or church groups.

 Basic classes with this mark (*) include a class participation card. All other classes include a two year completions card from AHA.
